the project
NUMU develops mycelium materials using regional agricultural residues, including date-palm fibre. The work connects formulation and production with applications for interiors.
Andy Cartier’s work with NUMU extends the material investigations visible throughout this archive. This page presents selected material and acoustic form studies, with application visualisations labelled separately from photographs. NUMU is a distinct platform, not another name for Studio Cartier.
