Who is responsible
Studio Cartier, the design studio of Andy Cartier, is responsible for this website. For anything about your data, write to office@studio-cartier.com.
Visiting the website
This site sets no cookies and has no analytics, advertising or social-media plugins. Fonts, images and video are served from this website itself, so your browser does not contact Google Fonts or other third parties while you browse.
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. To deliver pages and protect the service against abuse, Vercel processes technical request data such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. Vercel keeps these logs for a limited period and acts as our processor under its Data Processing Addendum, which includes the EU Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers outside the EU. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
On the homepage, your browser stores one value in session storage to remember that you have already seen the opening animation. It never leaves your device, is not a cookie, and is deleted when you close the tab.
Videos
The Conversations page shows a video as a static card. Nothing is loaded from YouTube unless you press “Play here”. The player then loads from youtube-nocookie.com, and YouTube (Google) processes your data under its own privacy policy and may set cookies. “Watch on YouTube” simply opens the video on YouTube.
When you contact us
The inquiry form asks whether your message concerns consulting or a partnership, your email address, and an optional message. We use this information to read and answer your inquiry. When configured, the form sends through Resend to a Microsoft 365 mailbox. If sending is unavailable, it tells you so and offers a direct email link. Resend processes the message for delivery; Microsoft 365 stores the resulting correspondence. We do not add you to a mailing list.
To limit automated abuse, the form uses Upstash to hold short-lived counters keyed to hashes of the sending IP address and email address. We do not use those counters for marketing. We keep inquiry correspondence as needed to handle the conversation and any applicable record-keeping obligations; a fixed deletion period has not yet been set. The legal basis is taking steps toward a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Booking the Mycelium Hotline
Hotline calls are booked and paid on cal.eu, a separate service with its own privacy policy. The details you enter there are shared with us so we can hold the call, and are used only for that.
Links to other websites
This site links to other websites, such as NUMU, Mediamatic, Instagram, LinkedIn and the press. Once you follow a link, that website’s own privacy policy applies.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or receive it in a portable format. Write to office@studio-cartier.com and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live or work.
Changes
If the website changes in a way that affects your data, this page is updated first. See also the legal notice.
