Fungal Geometry — circular grown forms arranged across an interior wall

About
the project

Fungal Geometry is an art installation made for a house in Amsterdam. Repeated circular elements turn variations in mycelium growth into a larger wall composition.

The project explores a middle ground between an individual artwork and an interior surface. Repetition gives the arrangement structure while each element preserves its own material variation.
