Re-Stool — faceted mycelium form developed from a discarded mould

About
the project

Re-Stool investigates the use of discarded materials as moulds. The existing geometry of a found object guides the shape of the mycelium form produced inside it.

The faceted study makes the mould’s influence visible. It belongs to the studio’s early research into how reuse can shape both the material recipe and the tools of production.
