the project
This French collaboration explores mycelium as a core material for a surfboard, reinforced with natural fibres. The prototype carries the material research into the familiar form of sporting equipment.
The project asks how a grown material can participate in an object shaped by handling, manufacture and performance. It is presented here as a prototype study; commercial availability and performance specifications are not asserted.
